Are you familiar with Life Happens’ Real Life Stories Program? It’s a program that recognizes the importance of life, disability, long-term care insurance and annuities in making a difference when adversity strikes. Insurance professionals, home office employees or clients can quickly submit a story online here.
Here are four reasons why YOU should submit your own client story.
1. To help educate consumers. People learn through storytelling. And these stories do just that — we learn through someone’s firsthand experience. This program shares stories to help countless others understand the value of insurance and encourage them to get the coverage they need.
2. To share content. The selected stories will be part of our national educational efforts and featured companies and insurance professionals will have access to the high-production videos, flyers and social-media graphics that Life Happens is known for. We will work with the selected stories’ compliance departments to get content approved.
3. To be featured. It’s a great opportunity to highlight your work as an insurance professional (or for companies to highlight their producers). Without the help of insurance professionals, all our Real Life Stories would have had a drastically different outcome. Our recipients also get a chance to participate in our Speakers Bureau program to continue to share their stories and expertise through a variety of formats.
4. Because it’s easy! The application is straightforward and you can submit your story by recording a video on your phone or share a written story. Don’t worry if you’re not a great writer, it’s the story that counts. If you are in a time crunch, then I’m more than happy to jump on a call with you to submit the story on your behalf! You can reach out to Julie Holsinger at jholsinger@lifehappens.org for any questions.
And, if you still need another reason to submit a story, hear from insurance professional Steven Bakouris about why he submitted a Real Life Stories application here.
Don’t forget to submit your entry to be considered!
